When should I get an elective 3D/4D ultrasound?

I'm 26 weeks today and I am so excited to see what my baby looks like !! When should I go to get the best pictures ? I want him to look similarly to what he will look like when he's born, but I don't want to wait super long because then it doesn't seem worth it to go. If you have any pics from your 3d/4d US around these weeks please share them !:)

28 weeks. (Cord was in front of his face so we were unable to get a clear picture)

I think they grow so much towards 27-30 weeks. They really start putting on the fat and looking like the cute chubby baby they will be. I would wait until 28-30 weeks.

I'm getting mine at 31 weeks.. next week and I'm so freaking excited !! Ahh... I voted 29 weeks.. the five days before drink a lot of water and it will make the pictures even better !!

They say 26 weeks plus as the baby has built some fat and you get better pictures! I'm booked for mine at 28 weeks
