Should I be worrying??

Question

I am 35w+5 and had a general antenatal appointment today for general checks. Scan showed baby has only out on 1oz in last 2 weeks and at 4lb13oz was told on small side. Was also told am starting to show signs of pre eclampsia (swollen feet and hands, protein in urine and a small rise in blood pressure). Dr checked cervix, which is apparently is closed no dilation yet.

I have had steroid injection today and been booked in for more checks/scans etc over the next week with possibility of being Yes Brian used 2 drive the lorry I think every Friday nite, there was a lot of pigeon fanciers them days especially on chapel end.induced at 37 weeks.

I am so over the pregnancy already as I am permanently exhausted and feeling uncomfortable. I also think 37 weeks isn't that early really for being induced. My SO on the other hand is really worried about the whole situation and thinks I'm not normal being fairly relaxed about possibly being induced early. Should I be more worried than I actually am? Is he right?

If they're giving you steroids that's a good thing as lungs may not fully be developed on their own at 37 weeks. But with steroids baby should be fine. Keep in mind that measurements on u/s are a guess and can be off by quite a bit. Keeping calm is good for you and the baby! It sounds like you're being well taken care of. I'm sure you and baby will be fine.

Well I have had second steroid injection today getting baby ready to be induced at 37 weeks. Steroid injections are not nice :-/ don't think baby liked them much either as nit moved much at all since had first injection yesterday......was so worried that not felt her move after shot number 2 that spent the evening hooked up to machine in hospital to monitor baby. They said baby is fine but am now Feeling more stressed out. 
Also got conflicting info....was told yesterday that will be decided next Wednesday if they will defo induce at 37 weeks. Diff Dr this evening looked at my notes and said its written down as plan in hospital notes that I will have membrane sweep Wednesday and be induced at 37 weeks. Was not told this before hand and nothing is clear........arrghhhhh!!!!

Hi there, i also had similar problems with my last pregnancy.  Gynae said she wasnt growing much n needed to come out early.  Said she was also small. 2.9kgs. As thats what the usound said. Needless to say she weighed 3.4kgs when she was born. No prob whatsoever.  So pls dnt stress.... usounds can never be exact. Xxx

I had steroids and had my daughter spot on 37 weeks via section she was 4lb15oz and we were allowed home the next day we had no complications apart from her blood sugar being low initially but that was soon sorted after she finally decided she wanted feeding x

Should I be worrying??
