Iam now 6 weeks postpartum going on 7 weeks everything was feeling great until this week (I had a vaginally delivery and had to have an episiotomy). I started feeling some pain on my left labia and perineum around Monday or so and waited it out because I had my 6 week checkup with my ob on weds. Talked with my ob about it and he prescribed me metronidazole for a possible infection . I started the medicine right away as the pain was becoming unbearable even walking was awful. Tomorrow will be day 4 of taking these antibiotics and I have had no relief in fact it's worse then before. I called my ob today desperate to get a diff medicine and unfortanely no one got back to me. Is there anything I can do for relief iam getting really desperate the pain is becoming unbearable??? Has anyone else had this problem ?? Any Advice would be great
