morning after pill and am I covered

Missed the pill 6ish days before my period so went to the chemist and he said to take the morning after pill just to be safe and continue taking the pill for 7 days after...

I only took 6 because I had 6 left until the sugar pill... I've now started my first active pill after my period am I protected?
