Hello. I just found out I've had a miscarriage or in medical terms a missed abortion. This means that I've had no cramps or bleeding but baby was found to not have a heart beat. Baby measured 8 weeks and 4 days. I've been faced with the decision to proceed with a D&E (similar to D&C) or take Cytotec to hopefully pass it naturally. I choose the Cytotec route and 3 hours into it I haven't had many cramps yet. Has anyone used this method before? I thought for sure the cramps would be bad- I'm scared it's not working.
