Can Meclizine 25mg cause false positive hcg test!?
Hello ladies! So I will start by saying I went to the Dominican Republic from Jan 5- Jan 20. I did not take any hcg test with me there. I did continue to take my bbt there just at different time than here in New York. My temps went crazy at moments I thought I ovulated but bbt didnt tell. So cd17 I started spotting with the worse pain on left side. Next day my temp went high. I did not get positive opk just dark one. Cd 18 was pretty faint so I thought I missed my surge. After my third high temp it just dropped and kept dropping until today. Anyways yesterday I had to take again my meclizine 25mg pill to be able to handle the plane ride. I took it at 2am and then arrived 5am here. I went to sleep and by 1pm I decided to take an hcg test. And I didnt look much into the test I saw nothing but 10-15 mins later I grabbed the test to show bf that is negative and I havent ovulated. For my surprice it was too positive to miss. Pink was all over the line and the urine was diluted. Today I took another test with a hold and it was negative. So Im back to waiting again.
So could meclizine have caused the test to turn positive!?
