Too Early??

Question

When do you think is too early to be talking about moving in together and future plans together? I've recently (2 months) just started dating a guy and he seems like Mr.Right, he accepts my daughter, his family likes me and mine likes him as well. He's asked me about my dream wedding and told me who would be his best man, talked about living together, and eventually having babies. We see eye to eye on just about everything, when did you and you SO start planning your future?

Me and my husband were talking about that two months into the relationship. Four months in, engaged. Got married 10 months into our love story! Almost a year married and it's been awesome :) when you find your best friend, you gotta marry him!

Yeah 2 months is too soon. Wait until after the honeymoon phase, wait until after your first fight/argument. This way you'll know if your relationship is mature enough that you can handle living together. Love is a powerful thing, lol, don't let it blind you!

Have you only known this guy for the 2 months yall have been dating? My fiance and I waited 2 months after we made it official. But I knew him before. And we were engaged 7 months later =) I don't believe in time frames. We just went with the flow and we do not regret our decision on moving so fast. But that's just us. My husband and I moved in together after 3 months however we've known each other for 14 yrs roughly. We got engaged after dating 8 months and married 3 months later (it was a quick wedding that we just put together in our back yard with only our parents, siblings and grandparents invited to). We are planning a one year anniversary reception in June because some family members were a bit upset they weren't invited. It was my second marriage (first one was a total disaster and he was abusive). My husband made the call. He didn't want anyone there but I talked him into having those we did have there. We've had fights of course but we always work it out. It's ultimately your choice. Talk things through and if you agree on parenting since a little one is involved then discuss living together. But sometimes it is nice to just plan, dream, talk, and to not have to do everything on the spot. With him I just know that all those good things will come to us naturally, so no need to hurry - just enjoy your time together!

Well my husband asked my mom for my hand in marriage after two months of dating each other. My mom said it was too early and to wait at least 6 months to a year before marrying each other. We ended up waiting two years and now we have been married for about 8 months. Totally worth the wait!

I met my husband and was married to him less than two months later. We've been married almost 5 years and we've weathered some major storms and always stuck together through them. I wouldn't advise anyone to get married that quickly though. We are both very level- headed, practical people. I don't think most people can enter a relationship that quickly and make it work.
