I got pregnant at 16 and had my baby at 17, reading other ppls birth story made me believe i was gonna have a long birth and would have to be induced as most but luckily this wasnt the case for me, my due date came and i thought i was gonna be pregnant forever since at 39 weeks and 6 days i wasnt dilated at all and i had NO signs that labor was near, then at night at 40 weeks and 2 days i went to the bathroom and had a little bit of mucus/blood. That morning at 40 weeks and 3 days woke up and had more, around 6 i started having really bad cramps and thought to go to labor and delivery just to check if i was dilating (i never thought this was real labor) i arrived at around 7:30 with bad cramps and they checked me and said i was 2 centimeters dilated, they called my doctor and he said ti send me home as i had an appointment the next day at 11:30 and that he'd see me then, i went home and around 8:30 i couldnt handle the pain, i was going back and forth whether to go back to the hospital or not, i decided to go in and they checked me and i was at a 3, they decided to keep me and hooked me onto monitors, i was excited but thought i was going to be in pain for another day or so, well i requested the epidural and the nurse said that after i get it she would check me again. I got the epidural around 11 and i was at a 7! 30 minutes later i got checked again and i was at 10 and ready to push, the pushing was hard since i couldnt feel a thing, 2 hours and 30 minutes later i had my baby girl January 9th @ 1:55am weighing 7pounds 14oz and measured 19 1/2 inches
