Hydrating sick baby?

My sons been vomiting a lot today and hasn't kept much down. I nurse and feed pumped breast milk. Any tips on getting milk in him without him vomiting it all up? He's not quite 6 months yet.

My baby girl was vomiting last Sunday and the on call nurse told me to do the following:
Allow only 2
min of breast feeding (bottle feeding closer to 1 min because it comes out faster). Do this every 30 min for 4 hours. If baby is sleeping no need to wake, sleep is best for them when sick. If still spitting it up after the 4 hours, give an once of Pedilyte the next 4 hours. If still persists go see doctor.

I would still call your pediatrics after hours/on-call number to see what they recommend.

Call the pediatrician. They will most likely recommend pedialyte. If he's been vomiting all day they will want you to come into the ER. I highly suggest calling your oncall doctor asap.

If he's not keeping anything down it warrants a call to the on call pediatrician until he can be seen.  With them that young there's concern of liquids and electrolytes. I know my pediatrician said we can give 1 ounce apple juice with 3 ounces of water but thar was for constipation not vomiting.
