puppy toys and baby toys?

How do we keep baby toys and puppy toys seperate? Just brought home a puppy on impulse and so I hadn't thought about that! Lol (don't worry I'm not one of those crazies that impulsively brings home a puppy and then ditches it, so please no judgement)

When I was a kid we never gave our dog a toy unless we made her sit and watch us take it out of a shopping bag. We would also firmly tell her NO if she took one of mine, and then replace it with one of hers. Eventually she learned that if it didn't come out of a shopping bag, it wasn't hers to take

We have a box that we keep all of our dogs stuff in. Not a cardboard box but something similar to a storage container and he's able to access it himself. We've had our dog since he was five months so over time he realized that the only things he could play with were in his box. He's almost four and a half now.

Kinda difficult if you have a baby that crawls or a toddler but honestly it builds immunity lol im proof 🙋🏽😂

Haha! Your baby and puppy with happily "share" toys as soon as you turn your back so I wouldn't bother trying to keep the toys seperate. Any baby toys that you are fond of should be put away to prevent them being destroyed. You won't be able to have those ones out again until your puppy is two to three years old. Some dogs never grow out of chewing on children's toys.
