When is the right time to buy baby things?

How many weeks were you when you started buying baby items? What did u start buying first?

I was two weeks pregnant. I bought a boppy and a moby wrap. Most people will say wait until 12 weeks. But I also told everyone when I was 3 weeks. I'm impatient lol

We didn't buy much before she was born , other than her crib (that at 14 weeks and still not using it), and a bed side co sleeper attached to our bed. Everything else was given at the baby shower. ..from clothes, to butt paste , diapers and everything in between. .

I waited until I knew the gender personally. But unless you're high risk I'd say any time after 12 weeks.

We started at 15 weeks but are still buying at 29 weeks pretty soon we are going bare-down and get everything left on the list

Girl we started buting things while ttc. We bought a beige bassinet and a medela breast pump. Both used and for a good price. But now we are 13w1d and awaiting our genetic blood results (any day now) for the gender then we will really start buying. But we have been buting diapers and wipes since we got our bfp.

I'm 6 weeks and have loads of things which my sister has passed down to me and did before I was even TTC. Since finding out I'm pregnant I've bought a born in 2017 vest and some mittens and hat. Shouldn't think I'll buy anything now until I've had my 12 week scan (:

I bought a blanket when I first found out. Then I found out the gender and went ballistic. I've bought everything & im only 5 months. I have the swing, car seat, strolled, & pack and play. Everybody keeps asking my mom "what am I supposed to buy/bring for the baby shower?!" & I don't know what to tell them lol. I was just too excited and in my circumstances right now I rather be safe than sorry and to be sure he has everything he needs :)

I started to buy just a bit at 23 weeks last week, just onesies. I'll pick up little things here and there that are good deals or stuff that I'm particular about. But I want to wait to see what we get at our baby shower, then I'll buy the rest. My mom said not to buy too many clothes because you get so many as gifts. So I'm focusing on the nursery items.

I won't start buying anything til closer cause I don't wanna jinx my pregnancy n I'll be 12wks  tomorrow
