discharge HELP

Hey! So I am having some issues and wanted to see if other ladies have dealt with this. I've never had this happen before. It first started about a week ago, and it was a week or so post period. And my discharge started turning brown ( like I was about to start) and it was really thick. I called my doctor and she said it's fine to keep an eye on it..it's now a week later (next period isn't for another 13 days) and it's still brown and has blood in it. Idk what to think I've never had this happen before..anyone seen this before?
