should I be worried? is this normal??

My last period was 12/20 so that would make me 5 weeks today when I went in for my appointment prior to the ultrasound the tech says we have you down for being 4weeks6day and when she measured me I was 5week1day but they could only see the gestational sac no baby yet.. is this normal??

I went at 5w2d and there was not baby just a sac. I went back and they found the tiny baby at 6w2d! Hope it's all good for you.

Yup. It's too early to see the baby. And you'll almost never measure right on track at any given point in your pregnancy. They allow for the baby to measure either two weeks ahead or behind (3 in the third trimester) without being concerned. Babies go through growth spurts. And your belly will also likely be off, which doesn't matter. It's a total estimate. The only measurements that matter are baby's. I'm 34+4 and my stomach has been measuring at 28 w since 28w. Buy my son is actually a little ahead of 34+4.
