belly button piercing?

Okay so I have a question for all of you that have your belly button pierced. Is this normal? I got my belly button pierced like 2 weeks ago and I'm wondering if it's infected or is my belly ring getting rejected ? Lol just don't mind my hairy and chubby tummy 😂 ps I know it's probably not a good idea to hold the ring like that but I just did it to show y'all

It's not infected just irritated. What do you currently use to clean it?

Almost looks like the ring isn't long enough? Maybe that's why it's getting infected cuz there is not breathing room for it.

Looks infected.  The best trick I've learned is listerine. Plain yellow listerine. Not the scented ones.  Just the old regular one. Clean 3 times a day with a q tip... within 4 days mine was all better and never had issues again

I got mine done almost a year ago and at first it started to look like that because the bar wasn't long enough and it ended up getting infected. So I switched to a tongue ring and it healed up in a week or so because it had more room. Make sure you clean it 3 times a day with dial anti-bacterial original soap. Also salt water soaks are good! Mine got infected and I did sea salt soaks with a shot glass lol. It worked! And healed quickly

Try getting a surgical steel ring like an actually C shaped one usually for lips and stuff. You'll be able to apply whichever solution and rotate the ring all the way through. I had mine pierced on the bottom (innie outie belly button) got infected the first time they used a little ring too shirt to really move to clean. My friends nurse mom re pierced it and wouldn't do it without the surgical steel ring and then gave me a salt water solution. Was perfectly fine! Good luck!

Clean it with salt and warm water. Also ask the piercer for a longer ring so it can heal better

Bar is to short to heal properly, get a longer bar till it fully heals ( 4-6 weeks ) then you can move to a smaller bar

Twist it regularly one time. I bought sea salt spray from Walmart for $10, mine started getting nasty green stuff and the spray cleared it right up.. and after about 2-4 weeks, I would take it out to clean the skin and ring.

Mine did the exact same thing. The top ball was like digging into my skin. Unfortunately, it was my body rejecting the piercing and I had to take it out. Maybe best to get the opinion of the piercer who did it.
