Considering adoption?

Question

Has anyone gone through the adoption process before? Or have you considered it if struggling to get pregnant? I am open to an international adoption, but DH is not on board yet.

My man and I had 3 ourselves and adopted a baby. It's worth the court headaches.

I think about adopting all the time. (When we are financially ready!) We have been trying to conceive for a year now with no luck. Unsure if I am able to get pregnant.

At first I wanted as many kids as financially and physicall able lol but now I really just want one naturally and I really want to adopt. Not really sure about internationally but I love all babies so we're definitely open to it:)

Not personally but my dh is adopted. My MIL lost all of her female organs to endo at 23. For them nearly 30 years ago it was a long and involved process. He was two weeks old when they got him but he had to stay in the country for two years. They were missionaries to Mexico so staying wasn't a big deal for them. I don't know if that's changed now but if not it's def something to consider. I've had no trouble concieving but I would still love to give a child a chance at a better life one day. I wouldn't have my dh if someone else didn't.

If we can't conceive naturally our backup is either long term fostering or adoption. Family is everything to us and we have a lot of love to give.

Yes if our infertility treatments don't work we have talked about adopting an older child or sibling group from the state.

I am, but we have no idea where to even start at this point! People have told me that when people the know had been TTC for a while, and some gave up and others adopted and both instances resulted in biological babies :) I think it would be nice to adopt.
