Read Taking Charge of your fertility. By Toni weschler. Once you read the book and chart for a few months, then go see a specialist with your charts they may be able to pin point problems and may be able to skip some tests

You should def see a specialist for a full work up. You need to get an ultrasound, get your hormones checked, make sure you're ovulating and that you don't have PCOS. And your husband needs a sperm analysis. Any doctor can probably start the investigations but eventually you want to follow up with an ob/gyn or fertility specialist.

No not yet at the time I didn't have any medical insurance and we could not afford it.

I know this may not be something that you want to hear, but have you ever considered adopting?

After 1 year of no luck it's recommended to see a fertility doctor.
