3 weeks pp sex?

I'm 3 weeks PP and really want to have sex 😭 I had a 2nd degree tear and 1 stitch on my right libia, the tear stitches are all gone but the 1 stitch on my libia was still there last I checked. I really want to have sex or at least fingering? Has anyone had sex before the 6 week check?

You need to wait nothing inside the vagina for 6 weeks drs do not tell you this to blow smoke they tell you because you just had a baby your body is an open wound it needs to heal you could get infections that can turn deadly also you are extremely fertile in the first 6 weeks pp and still very fertile the first year after birth find other ways to be intimate other than sex and enjoy your newborn yes there have been orhers that have had sex even days pp but why risk it

I had sex st 3 weeks pp. I couldn't wait any longer. I had a second degree tear with 4 stitches but the stitches had healed and dissolved by 2 weeks and I wasn't bleeding anymore. I know in the UK they only recommend you wait until the bleeding has stopped completely and you feel both emotionally and physically ready for it. But like everyone else is saying, your body is an open wound and putting anything inside has a risk of infection. In saying that, I'm a firm believer in doing what your body tells you and if it's saying have sex then have sex.

I'd wait. The risk of infection isn't worth it. I saw my doctor at 4w pp for a note to go back to work and I go back again at 8w for birth control. At my 4w appointment he told me to wait till my 8w to have sex and I didn't even tear.
