How did u feel after u got the iud mirena birth control?

Hi i have my doc apt on tues to insert my iud mirena and i research alot and i saw it was 50 50 with probrems with iud and no or little problems, please take ur time to take this poll to help me out thanks in advance

I had no problems. I took two ibuprofen before insertion and it was easy and quick... there was a little pressure but not painful.. I had some spotting and some cramping afterwards but it didn't last long...

Hey girl! Just had mine done two days ago. Not gonna lie it was pretty painful BUT it's not excruciating. It's just very uncomfortable! I started bleeding immediately after, but it subsided after an hour. I took Tylenol and stayed in bed with a heating pad for the day!

The next day, no cramps and no bleeding :)

I actually canceled my appt 3 separate times because I got so nervous beforehand from reading reviews 😂 but I'm glad I went through with it!
