Well, honestly I think it's rare to get pregnant from precum. I'll tell you why I think that.

Pre cum is a liquid that oozes out from the urethra of the penis and comes from the Cowper's gland, or bulbourethral gland, in men. It's biological purpose is to clean the urethra from any urine that can cause any damage/harm to the sperm when the man ejaculates. It also helps the sperm glide easily out of the urethra. This pre-ejaculatory fluid is alkaline in nature as well.

It can sustain a pregnancy even though the chances are quite low(rare). I believe that this chance is quite low because of the journey of the sperm, how the one sperm needs a group of helper sperm to tear down the corona radiata of the egg to be able to fertilize it, and how much sperm there is in pre-ejaculate as well(low count)!

Also, I have saw an experiment/study that tested 27 men's precum and 11 of them contained reasonably motile sperm. However, I have a hard time believing that because of the anatomy of men. The gland that secretes this pre ejaculate fluid is very close to the urethra and not relatively close to the testes. It makes me believe that the only way pre cum can contain sperm is if the man has not urinated since his last ejaculation, leaving residual sperm in his urethra. Also, when men ejaculate they only ejaculate 98% of sperm leaving behind 2% of sperm in the urethra.
