Dieting while breastfeeding?

Kelly

Do you think this diet will be okay while breastfeeding my almost 7 month old? She eats solids in the morning and at night.

As long as you are eating healthy and getting enough to eat I don't see a problem

you burn a little of calories while nursing add in healthy high protein snacks or more eggs and you should be fine. just listen to your body

they didn't say anything about being able to snack in between meals, but come on. nursing and 2 eggs? 🙄

You can't click or copy/paste links from these boards, so you should probably just tell what the diet is

You may want to run it by your dr (or lactation consultant). I'm not an expert AT ALL but the concern that comes to mind is total calories and how your body might react if your caloric intake goes down suddenly & significantly.

Oh lol sorry. it's a diet of hard boiled eggs, fruit, veggies and mainly chicken. they plan out breakfast, lunch, dinner. every breakfast is 2 hard boiled eggs and 1 citric fruit. lunch is either salad, fruit, chicken or a combo. dinner is almost always chicken and salad or veggies. and it's a 2 week diet.
