I just wanted to let everyone know that my husband Joshua and I entered this contest to "win a baby" with a Michigan radio station. No, we wouldn't really win a baby, but we'd win free treatment for IVF. Which is roughly $25,000 YIKES!

My husband, Joshua, and I have been trying to have a baby since July 2014, as soon as we got married. We were hoping we would have the fun "honeymoon baby". However, that did not happen, and 2.5 years later, it still has not happened. I was diagnosed with PCOS a year after we unsuccessfully tried on our own. I worked with my OBGYN for another year doing fertility treatments along with weekly monitoring, and multiple pills for weeks. Yet again, unsuccessful. My OBGYN referred us to a fertility specialist and again, multiple medications and now self-injections and failed cycles/IUIs and failed pregnancy tests.
We have been heartbroken multiple times by seeing friends not even "trying to get pregnant' or getting pregnant the month after their wedding. The most heartbreaking moment was when we had just been told we had another failed cycle with IUI and we received news that our sister who got pregnant for a second time the same week - and we have never been able to even get a positive pregnancy test. We are proud Aunt and Uncle to a handful of boys and we love them more than anything and want to have our own child to love and bring love to the rest of our family and friends.
Our journey has been full of many emotions, a lot of tears along with the hormones that go up and down and all around. We feel even having this opportunity is amazing and we're sharing our experience with other. Winning the "final prize" will heal our hearts and complete our family of 2 and take us to another part of our lives together.
