question about summer infant spa/bath/shower

Hello. A friend of a friend gave me a summer infant spa for my twins and therefore there was no directions. It would seem self explainitory , but I can't seem to get the shower part to work. Press the button but it doesn't start. The bubbles part works though. Is there another battery area or something I am missing or is is just broken? Tia
