tips for tender breasts?

I started taking birth control about two months ago, and my boobs are killing me. Does anyone have any tips to combat this?

I got a herbal spray from my TCM doctor to spray on the breasts as soon as they start swelling/hurting. It's relieving, but your breasts smell like herbs afterwards and several re-applications were necessary throughout the day.  What helped me the most (besides going off hormonal contraception) was to reduce cow milk products (even organic ones). I only eat sometimes yoghurt or cheese and use only almond milk on a daily basis. My breasts hurt at least 50%-90% less (in some cycles not at all) and are much smaller. I don't know if that works for everybody but it's worth trying, especially if you take so many additional hormones by contraception (and/or nutrition- I don't eat meat so I know I don't ingest hormones that way).

I use a heating pad and Tylenol. I'll massage them or my husband will for me.

That sucks though. I haven't been on the pill since I had my baby last August. And until I read your post I didn't realize that my boobs don't hurt anymore. Lol (I know, I'm super observant). They were just a little tender before my last period. That's it. :-)
