IUD and Blood Clots?

Hi ladies!

Has anyone experienced blood clots after exercise? I got my Copper IUD a week ago and I got it on my period. I had my regular period and it stopped 2 days ago. I exercised last night (ran 6 miles) for the first time and this morning I had a MASSIVE blood clot come out. Is this normal or should I contact my doctor?
