Birthing classes?

Anyone take them? Useful? Books enough? I want to but hubby isn't sure. I don't want to pay all the money and spend all the time if it's not needed.

We are going to do the series class. It's from 7-9 every Monday for 6 weeks. The whole session costs $40. I don't think you can have enough information! At least he will be more prepared for what to expect.

We are going to as my insurance partially covers the cost, we have no idea what we are doing, and I want to meet some other couples who will have a baby around the same time. Ours is once a week for 6 weeks and starts Monday! Kinda excited :)

My work schedule is crazy and we are doing an online version offered to us by the hospital we are delivering at. But we are also doing a baby care and breastfeeding class too, which is not online.
