Re-lactation
Work on relactating. After delivery I had complications that caused me to need two units of blood before I could be discharged. As a result of my issues, my milk was delayed. When stuff finally came in my son's pediatrician was concerned that he was 2 weeks old and was still almost a pound less than his birth weight. I started pumping to measure his intake. Slowly my milk had to be supplemented and my supply diminished. I now can pump all day and not get a whole ounce. I'm working on getting that back up. Fenugreek, rolled oats, and a lactation consultant... Has anyone else gone through this?
