I had my first ultrasound a couple days ago, i have been having heavy cramps and some bleeding so they did one early just to check everything was ok. The dr said she couldn't tell if it was an egg sack and yolk or a cyst, which made me uneasy enough, then she said she THINKS we were looking at my uterus. So basically she couldn't tell me if my baby is IN my uterus where it belongs or if it's ectopic which has happened to pretty much every woman in my family at least once. My primary doctor wants me back in a week to check again but they didn't have any appts until the 16th and I'm trying so hard not to freak out. The doctor doing the ultrasound also had to take measurements twice, the first ones saying I was too early to calculate and the second saying I was 5 weeks 2 days but she said I was further along than that and I had to be at least 6 weeks 4 days which makes me 7 weeks even now and I'm still having the heavy constant cramps and spotting almost every other day. I just needed to vent ladies....
