about to make my boyfriend sleep in a different room

I can't handle his incredibly loud and alarming snores. Sometimes it even gets so intense it sounds like he's choking and coughing and grunts. Sort of sounds like a lawn mower with an exhaust... 😩 I can't relax when he falls asleep before me because if I read, I listen to him snore, I can't hear the TV over him, and I don't want to put headphones in because of my son. Might just make myself a bedroom in this baby's room because it drives me absolutely NUTS. Anyone else?
