I'm 40+4 and so ready to meet my princess. doctor won't induce until 42 weeks and has offered no help otherwise... I read online a bit, but figured I'd get opinions from ladies who have experienced these methods before. Also, this is my first baby and I'm 1cm dilated as of two days ago.

Whatever u do, do NOT use castor oil. It doesn't do anything to speed up labor.  It gives u BAD BAD cramps and it has very bad negative effects on ur baby.
Walk, power walk,  eat spicy foods,  bounce on a yoga ball, jump up and down,  jog, have sex, nipple stimulation...
Just don't touch the castor oil

Dancing , lol me and my 15 month danced everyday for a week to the "baby momma " song and my water broke at 350 this morning and she was here by 1043 am

I tried every possible way to induce naturally and nothing worked. We even had sex two to three times a day to soften my cervix. I walked multiple miles per day. Babies come in their own way and timing! I ended up being medically induced at 41+2.
