It's only right because u are manipulating the swing of the string. It's crap. That's no gender prediction in any way.  Flip a coin and call it in the air. Same odds.
Same with ramzi, heartbeat,  nub , skull and every other theory out there. 
Only way for an ACCURATE GENDER is via 18-20 weeks ultrasound,  or blood testing

I know you know these are just for fun and I love doing them, for me tho, mine has been right all along :) with my first I read you can do it over and over and it will tell you what each kid will be and how many you would have (if you chose to continue) in the last 4.5 years I have done it so many times, starting when I was pregnant with my daughter (my first).  Before I knew my firsts gender, I did it and it said girl, boy, boy, girl, girl, boy. Every time I'd do it and got to number 6, it would just stop and not move lol.  I have no intentions of having six kids, mind you lol. But it has been right so far. My first was a girl, second was a boy and I'm pregnant with my third who is also a boy.  Obviously, I don't rely on this to find out the gender of my kids, but I think it's cool that it was right before I even had all 3 of them. Just enjoy the fun little games to try. It adds some excitinement lol :)
