I'm about 5 weeks pregnant and before I went to bed last night I had some cramps and brown old blood spotting when I went to the bathroom. I didn't think anything of it because it can be normal.

But as the night continued I tossed and turned and the cramps got worse and started to feel much like period cramps. When I got up this morning and peed all of this bright red blood came gushing out.

If this is a miscarriage, is there anything I'm suppose to look for?

I bled with my 1st pregnancy also, because of a bladder infection I wasn't aware of, I don't recall cramps with it though.

I am calling my obgyn also today (their office hasn't opened yet)
