about to just give up on love entirely

So a couple days ago I posted how I was scared of adding this guy on instagram because we hadn't seen each other in years. Long story short, I went ahead and followed him & even messaged him. It took a whole lotta guts because I'm really painfully shy. Anyway, we got about 4 messages across and the he just stopped replying to me. I feel so stupid that I did all that just so he wouldn't even reply to me. I swear I feel like I just stumble upon one bad seed after another, I really feel like I'll never find the one 😔💔
