Literally just dissected my nipple to remove little milk pebbles

JK
Worst experience ever... swear whenever breastfeeding is going great, something happens to remind me how incredibly time consuming and hard it is too.
I woke up this morning with engorgement and clogged duct on my right breast. It's always my right breast.. my nipple on this side seems to have like sunken crevasses in it unlike my left one. I pray while breastfeeding my little one that he will be able to suck out the clog but no luck. I even tried nursing him on my hands and knees so he was laying on his back with my breast in his mouth... my husband got a big kick out of this... must have looked ridiculous. No luck tho.
So then the usual procedure begins once the little one went down for his 1st nap. Massaging the hell out of my breast in the shower with a comb... yes I read it's recommended to press a comb up against you breast and as your pressing move it towards your nipple. It's better than your hand because the little bristles target more specific areas to break up the clog. Hurts like hell. So in the shower I removed one of the little white pebbles and was so happy because I thought I unclogged my breast.
Nope... my breast re clogged itself 2 hrs later and I look in my nipple to see this little white pebble again stuck. So I begin the process all over again but nothing was working but this time I kept removing my breast from my sons mouth, picking apart my nipple and then giving my son the breast. I basically had to remove a layer of skin from the top of my nipple because it was blocking this milk pebble from coming out and then I needed my sons suck to bring it out.
When that little pebble came out, I was so relieved!! So small but did so much damage.
Always check thoroughly your nipple because there could be little milk pebble stuck in it... in also caused pain when nursing that's how I knew as well it was in there
Ugh just wasted hours too on this problem
It looks small but when it's in your nipple, really causes problems
