Cabo with a 3 month old?

Question

So my parents gave us a Christmas gift of flying the whole family to Cabo San Lucas for a week. At the time they want to go our daughter will be 3 months old? I need to talk to her pediatrician about her thoughts, but my husband says no. However, with my first child I took her on a trip to 3 different countries when she was 5 months old and she was fine. Thoughs?

I wouldn't worry. I would go. Imagine going with a bouncy 2 year old who gets tired of sitting in a plane. It may be easier to go now with a 3 month old than a 1 year old baby.

We're planning on doing a family vacation to Hawaii when baby is 6 months old so I say go for it! As long as your doctor says it's okay and your husband comes around

I took my 4 month old to NYC and our doctor was completely fine with it.

Do you have someone you could leave her with for the time? Might not be too fun with a 3 month old. I see miserable parents with their too-tiny children at Disneyland all the time, wondering why they even decided to come when the baby is so small and won't remember. They are so high matinence at that age.

We went to the Caribbean at 12 weeks with our first and it was great. At that age they travel so easily, sleep a bunch, and you can pretty much take them anywhere. It's a great time to travel and you'll be grateful for the sun and sand. I'd say do it!

I took my daughter to Hawaii at two months old. I was worried at first, but she did great! She slept most of the time and was happy to be carried around for a week straight. If your pediatrician gives you the okay, I say do it.
