ovarian cyst
Hi, I'm Shannon, I'm 19...
So I've been diagnosed with an ovarian cyst, I know they're usually totally normal, however mine has caused pretty serious symptoms - the most prominent being the fact that my period started June 2016... and it hasn't stopped for more than 5 days since.
Ok I know most of you will think I'm absolutely stupid for not going to the doctor sooner but in my defence I thought it was a bad reaction from getting the contraceptive injection for the first time... it wasn't, I know that now.
Anyway my question is, has anyone had an ovarian cyst(s) removed before? It is horrible? Is it going to affect my fertility in the future?
I'm pretty scared, and that's what they're suggesting we move forward with.
