Thrush treatment question!!!

OK breastfeeding mommies, my Dr just put me on meds for thrush. Baby doesn't have any white patches in her mouth but I just read an article that says some times they don't get the white spots and just get a really sore droopy mouth and are fussy (my baby to a tee these days so we thought she was teething). My question is this, if Im on the meds, will it help to heal her too? Or does she need separate meds? I've never experienced thrush before with my other babies so Im clueless!!
