IVF turned to IUI 😢

Did this happen to anyone else? I was on stims for IVF but after today's ultrasound they told me I only have 2 mature follicles.. the doctor told me since it's my first time doing IVF they don't want to do a retrieval with only 2 eggs. I'm really feeling defeated and depressed.. they don't want this cycle to go waste so my dr said it would be better to do IUI instead. The nurse told me she doesn't think I'll be the type of person to have 10 eggs and lucky if I'll ever retrieve 5.. ☹️
