anyone else suffer with Hyperemesis gravidarum?

I'm now twelve weeks and I went from 106lbs to 93lbs and my doctors says I have Hyperemesis gravidarum and prescribed me phenegran. Anyone able to even work with this? My family is falling apart over my inability to work because I either throw up or pass out. 🤢

I'm so sorry you're dealing with this. I might've had it too, but I started meds very early on and have been managing it pretty strictly. I take Diclegis AND Phenergen, most Di since it makes me less drowsy, supplementing with half a Phen when the Di doesn't cut it. Phenergen suppository when it's really bad. I definitely recommend this - I still don't feel awesome but at least I'm well enough to work! Good luck!!!

I had this. Lost 30 pounds. Had to quit and get a job that I could handle. I was working at a daycare. Children smell so disgusting when you're pregnant. Your family needs to understand this is not regular morning sickness and should WANT you to stop working if you need to in order to grow this baby healthily.

My wife had this til about week 15 or 16 it was horrible she was so weak and we had to stay in the hospital overnight when it got real bad one day. Nausea meds help a little but it seems to go away on its own she's at week 22 and fine now

I had this with my first pregnancy and it lasted all the way until my third trimester I couldn't even keep water down I was in the hospital every three to four days give or take a couple to get fluids I started out at 183 and by the end of my pregnancy I was 161 my doctor told me to drink coke after weeks of suffering he said I needed to at least have some sort of sugar calories etc. and although I still threw it back up sometimes I was able to keep more coke down than water and he said at that point coke was better for me then water. But idk if you have ever heard of muscle milk but my mom use to drink them and one day I just grabbed one on my way to or from work and I drank it and it was like magic!!! I swear the most amazing feeling I had through my first pregnancy. I felt so much better I had energy my stomach felt full and I barely threw it back up only a couple times. You should really try muscle milk!!
