clomid??

Has anyone had any luck with clomid? I ovulate late in my cycles. They range from 33-35 days I ovulate between CD20-25. I am currently ttc #2 for 5 months. With no luck doctor wants to put me on clomid 25 next month. Has this worked for anyone after trying so long naturally? I've used opks, preseed, geritol, aspirin I feel broken. Also it's the same father as my 31/2 year old. I'm so sad and discouraged. She was conceived first month trying! I know some people will say they have tried for years and I should stop complaining it's only been 5 months but I feel se was conceived so quickly what's wrong this time? 😢
