Have you ever used/heard of Dong Quai Root?

If you have do you know of any long term effects it can have on you? I use it like a birth control. (If your period is late then take some of this for about 3 days and you will start.)

Hello! :) Im a Singaporean chinese, so i definately have Dong Quai in my monthly diet. Chinese swears by this! It is a tonic which can added into a herbal chicken soup or taken as dong quai pills to "replenish" red blood cells after your period has ended. It is also useful to encourage a regular cycle, increases blood circulation, less painful cramps and makes you stronger in energy.
