Pap/HPV test

Just received partial results from a recent Pap/hpv test appointment and my doctor said that my results showed some kind of high risk hpv. She can't give me more information until she receives my pap results and told me not to worry like the sweet lady that she is but holy hell im freaking out. I now have so much running through my mind. What if it's serious? How did I get it? I've been with one guy for over three years. I've had yearly paps since before we got together and none of them were abnormal. Did he fuck around or has it just been laying dormant? WTF DO I DO.
