What can I use to remove this awful smoke smell??

I'm 20 weeks pregnant and the apartment I am currently living in, had someone who was a smoker and a section of the living room area smells strongly of cigarettes. Like if someone was smoking there, even though the person who use to live here did so years ago.

Please what can I buy online to remove this horrible smell???

It is not all the time that it smells like this, but on and off.

Sugar soap the walls
Get carpets steam cleaned (get a company or hire a machine and DIY)
Bi carb soda on carpet is another good suggestion
Clean any curtains or blinds

Magic erasers lots of em scrub the walls and doors. If you have a carpet cleaner clean the carpets. If you don't have one sprinkle the hell outta it with baking soda let it settle sprinkle with carpet cleaner let it sit and then vaccum it up super slowly a pet vaccum works best but anything will do then spray everything with frabreeze
