c-section or VB ?

Anyone, which one would u prefer for ur first birth ? I'm quite scare and throughout this journey, my man never participated at all as he's too busy for us.

I spent a lot of time researching and chose a hospital in NC with some of he lowest c-section rates in the country for where I wanted to deliver. I did NOT want a c-section AT ALL and was very adamant about it. Unfortunately, my doctor let me go until I was almost 43 weeks before they finally induced me. This ended in an emergency cesarean. I thought I'd be devastated but it all happened so fast and before I knew it there was my son. I didn't even push a single time before I was rushed into surgery. As we continue our struggle to conceive again, I know that after the ease of my recovery from the surgery, and the scare that resulted in my emergency surgery, I am going to request a scheduled c-section for baby #2. I had an emergency csection with my first baby so when they asked if I wanted another section or to try a vbac with the second I quickly turned it down. BAD mistake (although the second was emergency too). My first section was amazing! I've never been in more pain in my life after the second and I have a decent pain tolerance.

Honestly, part of me wanted a c-section because my biggest fear for birth was wasting time and energy pushing for hours just to have to get one anyway.

However, I knew the healing process and all that was a lot worse. So there are "pros" and "cons" to wach type of birth

I was heading for a VB however baby turned after 29 hours of labour so I was rushed off for an emergency c section and can honestly say I'm glad. I loved my c section and I'll have another.

I tried to have a water birth but ended up with an emergency c section after 83 hours of labor. I'd take the VB over c section any day. The recovery is no fun. It's been over a month and I still feel odd twinges inside me and my core doesn't feel strong at all anymore.

I was going for VB but had to have c-sections because my daughter was breech but next go around I'm hoping for a vbac I mean don't get me wrong c-section was scary at first but I didn't feel a thing it was so easy and I loved it but I want the experience of natural and I might even try vbac water birth

Don't be scared, I did it alone. My main support was my best friend (: she even took labor classes with me!

I wanted VB, but I had to have a c section. I'm hoping for a VBAC this time around.
