Why do girl matter more then boys?

Hi I'm breanna. I'm 15. I always wonder why do parents care when, where, and what there daughters are doing but they don't care what there sons do. I live with my mom and when I want to go to a friends house or party but she won't let me. But when my brother was 15 my mom let my older brother have sex in his room. WTF?  I have a boyfriend and I want to spend time with him and some times it's a no.

My dad's phrase is "When you have a daughter, there's 100 guys trying to get her pregnant. When you have a son, there's 1 guy trying to get a girl pregnant." Think of it this way, if there's 100 times the chance of something going wrong instead of just 1% chance of something going wrong, which are you going to choose? I'm not saying I agree, it's just the way my dad and uncles were raised And we've talked about this many a time! Sorry your mom is being this way!

Honestly i can kinda see were this is coming from and i think it should go both ways cuz this day in age u cant even trust girls with telling the truth they lie about their age oarents find out then ur son has to register as a sex offender cuz the girl he had sex with was underage i worry more about my son than i do my daughter yes i dont want her pregnant but i can help prevent that with birth control u cant help prevent a girl lying to ur son about how old she is only to turn around and have charges slapped on him

It's one of those things we won't understand until we have to take care of kids ourselves. I used to ask myself the same question but as I've gotten older I've realized it's a tough world to be a girl in - we're more likely to be hurt because we aren't built like men physically. And when it comes to sex - completely unfair how your mom is letting your brother do things you can't, but that's a different matter imo .....

It's because you are a girl and you are only 15 trust me been there !!!! I am 20 years old and omg when I was your age my mom and dad didn't let me do anything I was never a Party girl but Wanted to do it was hell at the time it was so anoying and I get so mad at them now I look back and laugh how stupid I was because I was young ! So talk to your parents and tell they can trust you ! And how you feel

The guy 'takes advantage' of the girl in private but there is just no way that a girl will 'take advantage' of a guy in private.
I don't believe this at all but I've heard it from a person who felt pretty knowledgeable and I think there is truth to this. In the past guys would make the first moves all the time but the girls would just passively accept. Chances are in this day and age you are just as open to doing stuff. I don't think there should be a difference. As for what people are saying... Girls can get pregnant. Well... Guys can pay child support. That's a double standard in all lights. Regardless if you go to planned parenthood (is that the right name?) You can get on BC without your parents okay.

I never experienced this. My parents watched both myself and my brother like a hawk. Actually I had more freedom than he did because they trusted me and my brother was a liar!
