Alcohol is a depressant. It won't make it better. It'll actually intensify your negative feelings! I know it sounds god awful, but maybe try working out for a half an hour. When I'm feeling down, I find a book and get on a stationary bike for a little bit. I feel better afterwards!

Excessive drinking make anxiety and depression much worse. A couple of drinks is fine. But trust me, getting drunk will make you 10 times more anxious, and 20 times more depressed
