I had a laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and D&C all at the same time. I was just really sore afterward, and my stomach was pumped full of gas, but that was from the laparoscopy, I believe! They cut out my endometriosis spots. It wasn't really a bad surgery.
D & C w/Hysteroscopy
Has anyone ever had a D & C with Hysteroscopy? I may have to have one and am wondering what to expect. Still waiting on the results of my advanced ultrasounds, but feeling anxious about the possibility.

Good luck! I think the worst part/pain of mine was from the laparoscopy, so a hysteroscopy and D&C; shouldn't be too bad! I hope everything goes well and they figure out what's causing your problems! ❤

I had a C-section and am almost 7weeks PP and still having on and off heavy bleeding and pain in my lower abdominal area. They are trying to figure out why and checking to see if there were any tissues left behind. I think, if needed, mine would just be hysteroscopy and D & C. No laparoscopy.
I had both, under general anesthesia, and it was fine. I had a hemorrhage a month postpartum, and they did it based on an ultrasound that seemed to indicate there were bits of placenta left. I felt great after, just completely out of it for a few hours. It took longer than I had anticipated, but I was an inpatient, so it didn't really matter that it was about 3 hours between leaving my room and coming back. I had them done in the evening, and by morning I was feeling great.
