When your kid sleeps through the night....

My son finally started to sleep completely through the night. About 7-8 hours at night. As much as I love the sleep I've been getting I hate that I usually wake up in a puddle of milk. Now that he's not eating in the middle of the night at odd hours anymore I get crazy engorged every single night. I hate this so much! 😢😢😢

Your body will adjust soon. Make sure you sleep with nursing pads in and maybe a towel so you don't have to change your sheets every time? I exclusively pump milk and because of that I don't have to do it as often as my baby eats because my supply is excessive. When I stopped pumping in the middle of the night the same thing happened to me. It took about a week or two for my boobs to stop being engorged on wake up. I still leak a little gear and there but not as bad. If it really bothers you, you could wake up and pump to let baby sleep and empty yourself out. But that's a lot more work and less sleep for you.
