Post-partum pads?

Ok so I'm totally lost when I walk into the pad aisle!!  What pads did you use after delivery?  I don't want anything too bulky but I also don't want to have messes everywhere!

WEAR ADULT DIAPERS. No joke. The diapers from the hospital were my best friend. They weren't bulky and I NEVER leaked. I bled 6 weeks straight and it was so heavy. I ruined so many pants and a few undies. So sad.

Does anyone know if their is a difference in bleeding from vaginal to c section. Currently plan on vaginal, but due to my husband size as a baby we are possibly looking at a bigger baby. If so it would mean c section as my pelvis is too small for a baby 8 pounds or more. I'm a ftm and curious not 100% sure what to expect and still weeks away from baby classes.

I read some women wear depends the first few days and then just whatever pads you like after. I'll probably get the really long ones, I hate having to worry about bleeding on my underwear/pants with the short ones

If you are vleeding a lot uou will need something bulky. I used the big Always overnight ones with wings. When it slowed down i used regular ones

I used always infinity overnight and that was good enough for me.

I used always thin and long once I was home from the hospital. I had to change it every 4 hours. I got the ones with wings.

I have purchased kotex maternity pads, they were recommended to me by my best friend who experienced really heavy bleeding. I have also purchased some disposable breathable underwear
