What is this?

So I got my iud taken out in June and well for the last few months my cycles have been like 1-2 months apart! Well on here it says I'm supposed to be having my fertile week starting today TMI but my hubby and I we're just having sex and there was no sign of anything but when we we're done he pulled out and there was quite a lot of blood. It was bright red. What does that mean? Do you think this is my period or what?
