So I am almost 18 and my crush is 15, almost 16. My friends constantly give me shit about it. Is it wrong to like him? Or is the age difference too much?

No, if you like him that's all that matters. And plus the age difference isn't too big. It would be a totally different story if your were 30 years apart.
